New Company name

Emulators International and Software Resources International have now joined forces under a new name: Stromasys.

Both entities were already sister companies under the same ownership, originally started to each serve their part of the market of DEC legacy hardware replacement. Working with solutions that grew towards each other and blessed with a healthy company growth it was decided that we best combined the activities.

Stromasys will continue all product lines that were part of the two sister companies and will continue to provide these products and services to our customers. You can expect the same level of support that you are used to right now. Offices and people remain in place and are accessible via the phone and email addresses that you currently use. New email addresses will be added, but the existing ones remain alive for quite a while. At the same time we are expanding our worldwide presence by opening offices in North America (North Carolina) and Asia (Hong Kong).

CHARON-for OpenVMS Integrity.
The family of CHARON-VAX products already covers most of the VAXes that were manufactured. These products all run on a Windows host system. VAX virtualization for VAX4705 and VAX3100-98 are currently available

CHARON-AXP version 2 is available.
Version 2 now reaches up to the DS10 performance level. The product is available in 3 main versions: CHARON-AXP 4/266, 5/600 and 6/500, each addressing AlphaServers from the first 3 generations. Many new features have been added, check out the CHARON-AXP web pages for more information.

CockpitMgr for OpenVMS release 7.2 is available now. This release adds job scheduling and configuration / change management to the existing capabilities. Also SSH support for the Console Manager connection.

CockpitMgr is the product that assists system managers to maximize the availability of the OpenVMS environment that is under their control. It monitors the entire OpenVMS base and attached devices to detect potential problems before they develop and threaten the operations. It provides a central event console with graphical status display, a console manager, monitoring of all OpenVMS systems and attached storage/network devices. CockpitMgr collects event data for analysis, alarming and reporting in order to support system managers to maximize the availability of the OpenVMS base under their control. Version 7.2

FutureVAX products especially created to replace VAX-systems containing Qbus adapters that cannot be replaced. FutureVAX 3600 now also offers a system exchange for microVAX II, 3200, 3500, 3600, 3800 and 3900 models. The standard version offers a dedicated interface emulating the Qbus, to which dedicated option boards can be connected.
